Kon’nichiwa こんにちは Hello and Sumimasen すみません (Bows deeply).
Hello everyone, I like give a review of Aggretsuko because I love it and the second season is on the way.
Aggretsuko or Aggressive Retsuko (Japanese: アグレッシブ烈子 Hepburn: Aguresshibu Retsuko) was directed, created, and written by Kaolip, Rarecho who a Japanese Animator (I trying to find more information about him). It based s a Japanese anime musical comedy franchise based on the eponymous character created by “Yeti” for the mascot company Sanrio.
Aggretsuko as my Friend Kazumi said to me, the show is about being a Japanese woman working in the corporate world and the Japanese frustration of being a modern Japanese Woman.
The main character Retsuko (烈子) is voiced by Kaolip, Rarecho (singing) (Japanese); Erica Mendez, Jamison Boaz (singing, English) she gets her rage and anger out by going to a Karaoke bar and sing Death Metal (it’s not only the Karaoke Bar).
This anime has love balance between comedy and show cast the life of a young Japanese society. So the other characters in the show reflect the other aspects of the Japanese business culture, like Gori (ゴリ) and Washimi (鷲美) who are seniors in the company by knowing how to work the system.
I don’t what give out spoilers if you haven’t watched seasons 1. This well-rounded show and is worth the watching. I will follow up with an article about the season 1 when season 2 is released.
